Automated email reminders stop after 30, 90, or 365 days for your package. You can still sign in, listen to completed stories, and manually complete remaining purchased prompts, subject to the published storage and retention policy.
Starter includes 10, Story Collection includes 30, and Legacy includes 50 prompts total. These are fixed allowances. New prompts and new recordings beyond your purchased allowance are not unlimited. You can purchase additional prompt collections later when available.
Yes. Review and replace the recording for an existing purchased prompt without consuming an additional prompt. Replacement is a revision to the same prompt, rather than a new prompt allowance.
Every package includes individual voice-memo downloads. The $44.99 Story Collection and $119.99 Legacy Collection also include an entire-collection ZIP with numbered audio chapters and a player for continuous listening or chapter selection. Keep the extracted files together. New recordings include the question when the storyteller reads it aloud before answering.

Legacy includes 50 prompts across two themes for one storyteller, private family listener invitations, a personalized collection page, favorites, playlists, a printable keepsake index, and collection downloads. The storyteller controls listener access. Email reminders and audio transcription are available. Gift buyers receive weekly progress emails.
Each package is a one-time digital audio collection with transcriptions and a private library. There are no automatic renewals, and no hardcover book is included.
Login, recording, and private playback work. Stripe checkout is in test mode; no real money is collected. Legacy family listener invitations are available. Email reminders and audio transcription are available. Gift buyers receive weekly progress emails.
Your family’s voices matter. Keep your own copy of irreplaceable memories.
Your library. Ending a reminder window does not itself delete recordings or unused purchased prompts. Access continues while your account is open and the service operates, subject to these terms. Permanent or lifetime storage is not guaranteed.
Your backup. Download important recordings and keep copies somewhere you control. All packages include individual downloads; Story Collection and Legacy also include collection downloads. The library should not be your only backup.
Changes & deletion. For planned removals or service closure, we aim to give 30 days’ email notice, where practicable, so you can export your stories. Requested deletions, security incidents, legal requirements, or unexpected events may require earlier action. Deletion help: contact@familystorynest.com.
We use reasonable care, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free storage, or recovery of lost, deleted, corrupted, or inaccessible files. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Family Story Nest is not liable for those losses or related indirect or consequential damages. Where a liability limit is legally permitted, total liability for an affected collection is limited to the amount paid for it. These limits do not exclude fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
